Casual Warehousing/Logistics Team Member
Hermitage Staging is a successful staging company located in Perth, We are currently looking for a Casual Warehouse and Logistics team member to join our fun, fast paced team as we continue to expend throughout the Perth market. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an innovative small business where there is no end to personal development and growth.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing warehouse activities and large stocks of inventory with significant value, whilst guaranteeing the company delivers the exceptional level of customer service they are known for across all projects.
Your role will include to safely load and unload furniture to and from jobs sites from our warehouse without missing or leaving items behind, follow procedures and ensure the protection of stock and clients property, assist with Installation, hanging of artwork and pack down of stock and accessories at jobs sites, maintain warehouse cleanliness and to keep stock stored away safely and correctly, to show the initiative to Identify linen and furniture requiring laundering/repair/replacement on pack down and report to your team leader.
You must be able to communicate through whats app and be willing to download Google calendar as all our communications and jobs are booked and used through these apps.
Please note this is a highly physical role that requires moving a large number of stock on a daily basis and therefore a certain level of strength and fitness is necessary.
About you:
You have great attention to detail and show care when handling items - particularly in client's properties. You are honest, reliable and well presented. You are a motivated individual, willing to work hard when required. Have a desire to learn, improve, receive feedback, and contribute to a greater goal. You are committed and serious about your job - we want someone to join us for the long term and grow within the business potentially taking on a managerial role. You are comfortable lifting heavy items in/out of tricky spaces. Experience in a similar role is highly preferred but not essential. As long as you show a high level of care for furniture/property. You must have a driver's license with confidence driving larger vehicles such as a 4 tone truck and van.
