About the opportunity

Southern Cross University’s Future Students and Outreach is seeking a Global Student Mobility Officer to play a key role in supporting students in global programs. This is a diverse and impactful role where you’ll assist students with their study abroad journeys while working closely with partner institutions and supporting international engagement activities. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Assisting students with enquiries related to enrolment, study plans, pre-departure information, and loans.
• Provide academic, welfare, and administrative advice and refer students to relevant support services.
• Coordinating induction, pre-departure programs, partner engagement, and international student activities.
• Monitor and maintain accurate student records using the Student Management System.
• Promoting exchange and supporting campus and community networks for international students.
• Collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and international partners to support program delivery.

About you

You will be a detail-orientated and proactive professional, passionate about creating impactful student experiences. With strong administrative skills and an interest in international engagement, you’ll thrive in a diverse environment. More specifically, you will have:

• A relevant qualification and experience in administrative roles, ideally within higher education.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Commitment to excellent customer service, with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
• Advanced computing skills, including experience with Student Management Systems and CRM platforms.
• A collaborative approach to teamwork and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.

Salary and benefits

• Full-time, fixed term (12 Months) position
• Located at either Gold Coast, QLD 4225, or Lismore, NSW 2480.
• HEW Level 4. The base salary ranges from $72,947 - $78,337 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $91,654.
