About the Role:
Student Support Services School Buy-In is a dynamic multidisciplinary service model that adapts to meet the evolving needs of our schools, preschools and partnerships. School Buy-In provides an intensive and wide scope of allied health services.
As an Allied Health Professional working within in School Buy-In services, you will work closely with leaders, teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote the development, learning and wellbeing of children and young people. The specific goals and activities that you will be delivering on are contained within a project plan that is contextual to site need.
As a member of Student Support Services and the school team, allied health professionals in these roles are expected to carry out responsibilities with a degree of autonomy although project oversight and supervision opportunities are provided to you as standard practice.
Key responsibilities may include one or more of the following:

• Work alongside leadership to review and establish whole of site policies, procedures, and practices.
• Identify, deliver, and evaluate targeted intervention programs, either individual, small group or whole of site
• Deliver coaching and/or professional development for staff.
• Facilitate groups and or information sessions for students, parents/caregivers.

Student Support Services are on a cultural response journey, as such we value and prioritise Aboriginal ways of knowing, doing and being.

Qualifications:
Essential:

• An appropriate degree or equivalent which gives eligibility for full membership to Speech Pathology Australia.

Desirable:
Current Practising member with Speech Pathology Australia with Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status.

Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
AHP2 $88,255 - $102,240 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation
AHP3 $104,180 – $111,746 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation
