UXO Technician II

USA Environmental is seeking one (1) UXO Technician II for its long-term project in Vieques, Puerto Rico. The project involves surface MEC Removal. The mobilization date is January 12, 2025. *** Must be willing to commit to a minimum of 11 months onsite.***

Qualifications, Training, and Experience:

- U.S. Citizen unless exception approved by the U.S. Government;
- Valid state driver’s license;
- Ability to handle in a safe manner the vehicle assigned to drive within and in the vicinity of the site;
- Graduate of a military EOD School of the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia, or Graduate of a UXO-TI Course or the EOD assistant’s course;
- On-the-job training including, but not limited to familiarity with the process, procedures, and equipment (e.g., geophysical) used for conducting MEC-related activities;
- Never been removed from a MEC assignment for personnel reliability reasons or unsatisfactory performance of duties, substantiated by official documentation;
