We are seeking a part time clerk position for a Contract Postal Unit (CPU) in our Drug Store for the United States Postal Service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various clerical tasks, ensuring accurate data entry, and maintaining efficient postal inventory. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage incoming calls using phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and in person customer interactions.
- Assist in clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and address any administrative needs.
- Proficient in office procedures and clerical tasks.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize workloads effectively.
- Familiarity with phone systems and a professional demeanor in handling calls.
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective customer interactions.
- Competence in computerized systems for data management and reporting.
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Murfreesboro, TN 37129 (Required)
- Murfreesboro, TN 37129: Relocate before starting work (Required)
