Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in the consumer products and cosmetics industry, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operations Team Lead for their 2nd Shift manufacturing team. This role is based onsite in Sanford, ME, and reports directly to the Operations Area Leader. The selected candidate will lead a team of technicians in a collaborative environment focused on driving operational excellence and delivering results.
Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM
Core Responsibilities

• Develop, mentor, and coach team members in a values-driven, performance-oriented workplace.
• Monitor and analyze team performance data to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Oversee administrative functions such as timekeeping, attendance, vacation, and overtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production and optimize daily schedules.
• Drive initiatives in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), quality, labor relations, and financial performance.
• Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement by implementing Factory Performance & Reliability (FP&R) standards and engaging small group teams.
• Lead efforts to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), keeping the organization informed on progress.
• Champion process improvements and team development through coaching and consistent feedback.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications
Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of factory or manufacturing experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Over 2 years of supervisory experience with a demonstrated ability to build and lead teams.
• Experience in monitoring and reporting production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Working knowledge of Factory Performance & Reliability (FP&R) standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and SAP.

Skills and Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Factory or manufacturing experience (minimum 1 year)
• Leadership experience preferred.

Candidate Details

• Experience Level: 1+ to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Seniority Level: Mid-Senior.
• Education Requirement: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
