Hotel Front Desk Clerk

Tybee Island

FULL TIME & PART TIME

FRONT DESK TEAM MEMBER...looking for a new outgoing and fun team member to join our staff. Position can be full-time and/or part time. We are hiring for both the AM and PM shifts. This position is semi-flexible with the scheduling, but will include most Fridays and Saturdays. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Experience preferred, but not required. Starting pay is $14 per hour. THANKS!!!
Front Desk Agent Job Requirements:
  • Utilize a 10 step sales process when booking reservations for individuals, families and groups as required
  • Answer the phone at the front desk to respond to current and prospective guests’ needs
  • Greet walk-in guests and guests with reservations when they arrive at the front desk
  • Process the hotels daily transactions and handle minor accounting duties
  • Refer guests to local attractions, restaurants and venues
  • Communicate guests’ requests and complaints to the appropriate department
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Friendly phone manner a must
  • Must work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality
