Position Duties
Collaborates with Loyola’s Controller office and Grant Manager to oversees budget for CRISP Grant operational needs. Generates purchase orders, payment of services, and oversees procurement of supplies. Reconcile accounts and maintain client billing records while adhering to appropriate standards of confidentiality. Assure adherence of bookkeeping process to applicable laws and regulations. Verify documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agencies. Reconcile fiscal information in applicable system(s). Oversee billing and accounts receivable inquiries to locate problems and resolve discrepancies as well as collections on accounts as needed. Oversees the collection and entry of financial data.Â
Collaborates with the project manager to support the marketing and recruitment efforts of CRISP scholars which includes working with Loyola’s undergraduate offices (e.g., Alana Services, Career office). Further, works with program manager to communicate with graduate assistant and Loyola’s undergraduate student related to marketing and recruitment.
Collaborates with grant project manager and evaluator to create and implement procedures for compiling and reporting financial and outcome data specific to the grant. Designs reports and data analyses that support the grant application and grant reporting processes. This includes collection of data required by Department of Education, writing yearly reports, and working with CRISP Scholars (awardees) to collect and maintain grant data. Further, attend and take minutes of CRISP Advisory Board Meetings as part of data collection.
Schedules professional development related to the CRISP grant, that includes professional development workshops, career talks, and mentor counselor sessions. Maintains the calendar of these professional development activities and reports them to the CRISP project manager and evaluator.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
3-5 years of experience.
