Therefore EY-Parthenon is searching for professionals for our office in Istanbul, and as part of our EMEIA team, who are looking for entrepreneurship and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment on different levels.
The opportunity
We are looking for seasoned strategy professionals to join our team in Turkey at the Manager level in any of these sectors: generalist, energy, utility, financial services, telecommunications, automotive, retail, chemicals, transportation & logistics, industrial manufacturing.
As part of EY Parthenon Strategy, you will have the opportunity to deliver projects that make a strong impact on the region and develop your career through a broad scope of engagements, mentoring and formal learning.
You will work with a high-performing, integrated team which focuses on a variety of global and local corporate clients and private equity clients. You'll have a diverse range of stretching experiences which will give you continuous learning and development opportunities as well as a great sense of achievement.
Your key responsibilities
As a Manager, you’ll typically be responsible for leading our largest client projects, shaping the deliverables, client relationships, and wider team, with the support and coaching of our directors and partners.
You’ll also be involved in developing proposals and bids, and actively contribute to EY-Parthenon thought leadership and internal operational initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

You’ll also be involved in developing proposals and bids, and actively contribute to EY-Parthenon thought leadership and internal operational initiatives.
This will include:
- Managing project teams of between 3-6 consultants
- Creating an inclusive culture throughout the team and within engagements
- Developing our business – identifying opportunities within existing clients and driving sales activity
- Working closely with wider EY teams – across Business Consulting, Tax, Strategy & Transactions and Assurance to bring the best of the firm to our clients
- Developing a community within the team – owning / developing an offer, or other internal practice build initiatives such as Training, Professional Development, Innovation, Recruitment, etc.
- Counselling of Consultants to provide career direction and advice

Skills and attributes for success
- At minimum, a bachelor's degree from a top-ranking school in Turkey, Europe or US with outstanding academic performance, preferably in the field of Engineering, Economics, Business Administration
- Past or recent consulting experience at a strategy consulting house is key
- At least 5-7 years working experience in a strategy advisory company and/or in a corporate strategy department
- High level of comfort in a consulting role and experience with a client-facing position in an agency/consulting environment, including leading client workshops and developing and delivering strategic recommendations
- Experience working in global multidisciplinary teams and across regions/countries
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical ability to shape the business agenda and define strategic roadmaps
- Entrepreneurial spirit, team player and excellent communicator
- Strong people and leadership skills (incl. cross-functional collaboration, team management and people development & coaching)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Turkish and English
