What will you do?
The Test Analyst role is responsible for maintaining the quality of the applications across all environments throughout the multiple stages of development. This is done by leveraging specialist analysis skills, testing tools, frameworks and practices to validate the quality of the outputs produced by the team. This includes collaborating with developers, business, analysts and subject matter experts to develop and maintain test cases, validate the behaviour of the applications against the test cases and resolve identified defects by holding the relevant parties accountable for quality.
Key outcomes
The following outcomes will be expected from the Test Analyst:
- Analyse system and business specification to provide inputs and estimates.
- Liaising with business and or technical representatives to ensuring the highest quality outcomes
- Integration impact test analysis
- Defining the appropriate tests required
- Facilitate UAT with the business users including briefing on the UAT scope
- Gathering and managing the Test Data
- Set up / adjust test plans for all types of testing (functional and non-functional testing)
- Validate the automated test packs from the Automation Engineers
- Perform defect logging and reporting
- Post implementation production support (after care)
- Identify and suggest areas for growth and improvement within the team
- Logging of defects on Jira or SNOW
- Root cause analysis on defects
- Managing the incidents resolution with developers and automation engineers
- Comprehensive reporting on test coverages and overall quality across all the environments
Qualifications and experience
- ISTQB CTAL Foundation Test Analyst Certificate and/or other relevant qualification
- Solid understanding of Software quality and agile methodologies, tools and techniques (black box, white box and automated testing experience)
- Agile methodologies (scrum)
- Systems Integration Testing
- Workflow Systems Testing
- Knowledge and experience of the LISP is an advantage
- Strong knowledge and experience in SQL (3+ years)
- Strong knowledge and experience of API testing (2+ years)
- Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS and ETL testing
- 5+ years related experience of Software Testing/Quality Assurance
- Technical knowledge (HTML) and solid experience in WEB Application testing
- Understanding of common software failures and faults

Qualification and Experience
Degree or Diploma and/or required Certification with 3 to 5 years related experience.
