Senior IT Systems Engineer

Job Overview
The successful candidate will act as a regional Point of Contact for the IT Systems team, participate in BAU, maintenance and local implementation of new solutions, expansions, migrations, upgrades and decommission of existing systems, manage the local workload and priorities tasks where necessary. They will also provide professional support and knowledge of Teleperformance systems to internal business units, clients and coach less experienced team members. They will submit recommendations for system improvements to the IT Management team and help maintain the optimal operational environment of the Teleperformance IT systems by regular monitoring and maintenance. Regular travel between sites is part of the job.
Objectives of the role

Support and improve operational IT systems, implement new and decommission old solutions
Act as a regional Point of Contact for IT Systems related matters
Overseeing and/or executing BAU, Security, Strategy, Maintenance and Project work
Provide 3rd Line support for on-prem IT systems infrastructure and Cloud technologies
Help design new solutions or improvements, based on operational requirements
Provide a high level of knowledge of most of the following IT skills to coach others in the team : Windows Server, AD Domain Services, DHCP, DNS, Azure, v Sphere, Hyper-V, Exchange + M365, Web Filtering, MECM, Veeam, Solarwinds, Splunk, HPE Hardware (Proliant, Synergy, Nimble, One View)
Participate in the performance review process of relevant team members
Service BAU requests from ticket system to ensure a monthly 90% SLA target
Securing systems to PCI DSS, ISO27000 and/or Client standards through vulnerability scanning, audits and remediation
Documenting System builds, maintenance and configuration and keep those up-to-date
Assist in the migration from, consolidation of and/or decommission of legacy systems
Maintaining systems uptime and performance through the use of Solar Winds and daily checks
On-call support may be expected, out of hours work may be required

The Ideal Candidate

At least 5 years IT Systems Team / 3rd Line Infrastructure Support experience
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and support skills
Organized, efficient and able to priorities tasks / plan own time
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Be able to think ‘out of the box’, providing creative ideas and solutions
Team player and driven by success, aiming for quality service
Experience in a Call Centre environment or similar would be advantageous
Driving license would be beneficial to travel between sites

Required skills

Act as a technical go-to person for a complex infrastructure
Able to manage a diverse workload and priorities tasks for several people
Able to coach and teach more junior members of the team
Expert web-filtering skills, preferably Zscaler
Expert Windows Server 2016 - 2022 administration and support
Expert Windows Domain Services – AD Services, DHCP, DNS, etc.
VMware administration and Hyper-V experience
Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Certification – Iaa S, Paa S & Saa S (mandatory)
Good knowledge and experience with scripting, e.g. Power Shell, CLI
System Monitoring and centralized logging, e.g. Solar Winds & Splunk
Hardware management, including (un)racking, mostly HPE, using One View
Experience with MECM, Windows Updates and Software Distribution
Experience with Anti-Malware solutions
Linux administration advantageous
Good understanding of Role Based Access Control
Computer related degree desirable
IT certification desirable, e.g. MS Azure Associate/Expert desirable
