Financial Wealth Holdings, an established financial services company is on the hunt for a meticulous Information Technology intern who will provide support to the IT Department. The successful incumbent must have a basic understanding of IT Stock take, support and maintenance and equipment relocations.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Support & Maintenance:
  • 1st line It support via Teams and emails and in person, handling queries and tickets.
  • Offer general IT support, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • 1st line support for printer and headset issues (replacements, troubleshooting).
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the highest priority level. Workstation Setup & Maintenance:
  • Set up, upgrade, repair, and reinstall PCs.
  • Prepare new PCs for deployment and handle printer setups.
IT Stock Take:
  • Assist with conducting regular IT stock takes, ensuring accurate inventory management of all hardware and software assets.
  • Track and update stock levels, identify missing or outdated items, and report discrepancies.
  • Help organize and maintain the storage of IT equipment, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored for easy access.
Competency Requirements:
  • Troubleshoot Windows and mobile devices, perform updates, and install software.
  • Assist with basic networking and hardware upgrades (e.g., RAM, hard drive).
  • Ensure security standards and install antivirus software
Qualification:
  • A relevant degree or diploma qualification is required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, from a recognized institution in South Africa.
  • Basic understanding of IT support and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and mobile devices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
Job Types: Temporary, Internship, Graduate
