Tescom is an IT consulting firm providing a range of professional services in functional testing, automation testing, cyber security testing, performance testing, independent IT auditing, usability testing, resource augmentation, IT support and training.
We are looking to hire an IT Audit Manager to join us in an exciting project.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the audit activities of an IT software project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
2. Develop comprehensive IT audit plans, checklists and methodologies tailored to software project requirements.
3. Assess IT systems, applications, and processes for compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and security protocols.
4. Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.
5. Produce audit findings reports, and actionable recommendations.
6. Provide leadership and mentorship to audit team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
7. Act as a liaison between the audit team and the client, ensuring a smooth audit process and effective communication.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent would be advantageous.
3. At least 8+ years of experience in technology projects.
4. At least 5+ years of experience in IT auditing, governance or compliance.
5. At least 2+ years in a leadership role.
6. Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and software development life cycles.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
9. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and foster stakeholder relationships.
