We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Script (React) Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in React with significant experience in working with legacy systems, refactoring, and using Azure. This role demands excellent self-management and communication skills, as it involves collaborating closely with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our business needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java Script development
• Proficiency in React, HTML5, CSS, Next.js
• Competency in legacy system maintenance, refactoring, and optimization
• Expertise in any Headless CMS, ideally in Contentful
• Self-management capabilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience in working with and migrating legacy applications
• Knowledge of cloud services and technologies

Responsibilities

• Build out/enhance and iterate on customer’s website using React
• Conduct code refactoring and optimization to improve system architecture and performance
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to define project specifications and deliverables, provide recommendations/roadmap/options
• Work with Contentful, model data, and expand the use of it
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of technical challenges and project progress
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
