Responsibilities
Co-defining the product vision, prioritizing features, people management, risk analysis and mitigation, reporting, budget management and forecasting, fostering teamwork, collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholder management, leading certification activities
Skills
Must have
12+ years of Industry experience and at least 5 years of experience working in Infotainment systems or Android systems.
2+ years of project management experience
Prior experience in Android Automotive OS or other automotive infotainment systems.
Understanding of Android Automotive OS (AAOS), including its architecture and key components like Vehicle HAL, Car API, and infotainment systems.
Familiarity with AOSP development cycles and integration processes.
Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), and cybersecurity standards like ISO/SAE 21434.
Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet used in automotive environments.
Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in software delivery for automotive systems.
Ability to manage dependencies in software and hardware co-development.
Proficiency with project planning tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Microsoft Project.
Nice to have
Expertise with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), and cybersecurity standards like ISO/SAE 21434.
Experience of GAS certification, Working with Google test suites teams.
Experience of managing teams working across all layers of Android (Android framework, Android HAL and Kernel)
Project Management certifications like PMP
