Business Operations Manager

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:


The Business Operations Manager leading the operational execution and excellence work across France High velocity sales org scope. He/She defines and manages initiatives to drive operational efficiencies through the entire sales cycle guiding & supporting direct/indirect sales teams. In agreement with organization leader, He/She is responsible to take any necessary actions to support sales teams to achieve faster time to market and greater velocity to reach business success. She/He is a point of reference for business reviews and follow-up actions. Communicates, briefs, enables, supports direct and indirect sales force to smooth processes & operations and gain in efficiency. Collaborate in a cross-functional manner with other organizations from finance, SSP, ops, supply chain channel or sales.Sales compensated role. Quota is an overlay.

The Business Operations Manager applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees strategic business and sales initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of France Leader and across functions & organizations.
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling critical escalations and business show stoppers and developing action plans to address them,
  • Translates WW portfolio and sales programs towards the French market with execution planning and follow-up.
  • Actively contributes to the definition of the country business plan.
  • Establishes relationships and represents team within sales force and other partners at senior level.
  • Functional responsibility for the team in one or several areas (market analysis, marketing engagement, communication etc).

Education and Experience Required:
  • University or Bachelors degree in Marketing or Finance.
  • Typically 5-8 years of professional experience with a combination of operations, financial, Business Planning experience preferred.
  • experience in pricing and operations.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Broad understanding of business management, sales challenges, operations and strategies.
  • Business planning skills, multidimensional.
  • Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills at senior management internally and externally.
  • Global sales operations skills
  • Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.
  • Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing.
