• Ensuring that the digital workplace aligns with best practices by staying informed about industry trends and standards, participating in external forums, and collaborating with other companies like Ferring.
• Producing clear, detailed tactical roadmaps for the DWP area and specific DWP solutions.
• Converting project requirements into scalable, resource-efficient solutions.
• Identifying dependencies, common infrastructure components, and assess aggregation methods.
• Creating and maintain ownership of artefacts like runbooks, processes, diagrams, and configuration management.
• Overseeing the DWP solution lifecycle with Ferring partners, ensuring solutions meet design requirements and auditing tools and techniques used.
• Collaborate with line of business (Lo B) and Global IT colleagues, including project managers, service managers, and application managers, to reduce redundancy, cut costs, and enhance synergies within the organization.
• Developing solutions that support a Dev Ops approach for the delivery and operation of services.
• Ensuring compliance with security and data sovereignty requirements in all solutions.
• Collaborate with external partners to create proof-of-concepts demonstrating the viability of proposed solutions.
• Serving as the primary point of contact between IT applications, business units, and suppliers for architectural and design purposes.
• Managing assets required for operating our DWP solutions and assist in controlling outsourcing costs.

• 8-10 years in designing, executing, and supporting digital workplace solutions.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field is required.
• Extensive understanding of M365 digital workplace collaboration tools and solutions (Teams, Share Point, One Drive, Exchange, and other M365 applications).
• Expertise in Client Management Platforms such as SCCM, Intune, Sure MDM, and related dependencies like Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI and Azure.
• Extensive knowledge of end-point security, with a security-by-design approach and mindset.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft client OS General Availability Channel, Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC & Io T) Android and IOS and Lo B dependencies interactions including virtual desktops and AVDs.
• Experienced in MDM (Mobile Device Management) and Asset Management.
• Familiar with network engineering, including DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, and routing.
• Possesses an exceptional standardization and automation mindset, with a solid understanding of Power Shell and/or other scripting solutions.
• Problem-solving skills for distributed systems and critical service environments including experience in highly regulated industries.
• Proficiency in English.
