Arthur Bookkeeping & Tax is a growing firm based in Gilbert, AZ, dedicated to helping small businesses and nonprofits achieve financial clarity and success. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team remotely from the Philippines.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented bookkeeper who can work independently and efficiently. This is a remote, contract position reporting directly to the owner. There is no client interaction involved. Your role will include handling complex cleanup projects and maintaining accurate ongoing bookkeeping, with a focus on U.S. bookkeeping and accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using Quick Books Online (QBO).
• Perform cleanup work to correct and streamline financial records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financials for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
• Process and record transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports.
• Understand and manage the unique business cycles of diverse clients.
• Collaborate directly with the owner to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

• CPA preferred, with strong knowledge of U.S. bookkeeping and accounting practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Quick Books Online, including managing complex accounts.
• Proven ability to work independently and with minimal direction.
• Experience in cleanup projects and ongoing bookkeeping maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup.

Compensation
This is an independent contractor position. Employment may become an opportunity in time. The workload is estimated to take 10 hours per week, not more than 50 hours per month.
