Position: Manager of Med-Surg RN
Location: Panama City, FL 32405
Salary Range: $90K - $106K (Based on experience)
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
We are seeking a dedicated Manager of Med-Surg RN to oversee operations in a 42-bed Med/Surg unit. This role includes leadership of 57 FTEs, including Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs), RNs, LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs). The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality care delivery, staff management, and achievement of department goals related to service, quality, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a leader with acute care experience, especially in a recently remodeled and upgraded unit.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Med-Surg unit.
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Manage personnel, resources, and costs while maintaining high-quality care.
• Support performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of recent acute care RN leadership experience in a Supervisor or Manager role.
• Experience in adult inpatient acute care settings.
• Associate's in Nursing or BSN required.
• Active RN license or Advanced Nurse Practitioner License in Florida or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Willingness to obtain ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications within 30 days of employment.

Additional Information:

• The facility is a 238-bed acute care hospital serving Bay County, offering services such as cardiac, orthopedic, stroke, and pediatric care, as well as a Level III NICU and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
• Staffing includes new graduate RNs, LPNs, and PCTs.
