- We’re seeking a skilled and organized Secretary to support our clinic’s daily operations and help maintain a smooth, efficient patient experience.
- The Secretary will play a central role in our clinic by managing administrative tasks, handling patient inquiries, and coordinating appointments.
- This role is vital to maintaining the clinic’s organization and providing a seamless experience for both patients and staff.
- Greet patients and visitors, assisting with check-ins, answering questions, and guiding them through the clinic process.
- Manage the clinic’s appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Assist with billing inquiries, process payments, and provide receipts to patients.
- Order office supplies, coordinate deliveries, and ensure the front office is well-stocked and organized.
- Handle patient records, update information, and maintain filing systems in compliance with confidentiality standards.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and relay messages to the appropriate dental staff.
- Prepare and send reminders to patients about upcoming appointments.
- Support dentists and dental assistants with administrative tasks as needed to enhance clinic operations.
- B.Sc or HND in any relevant field
- Proven experience in a secretarial or administrative role, ideally within a healthcare or dental setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with dental software or other scheduling and billing systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and patient-focused approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
