Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The candidate will assist the on-call pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate patient records. Also to provide support with customer service by addressing inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and prepare prescriptions for dispensing under a pharmacist’s supervision.
  • Dispense medications accurately, ensuring they are correctly labeled and packaged.
  • Maintain and manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking shelves, and removing expired medications.
  • Assist customers by answering questions about over-the-counter drugs or referring them to the pharmacist for more complex inquiries.
  • Process and ensure accurate patient records.
  • Support the pharmacist in preparing compounded medications when required.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards, especially for handling controlled substances.
  • Keep the pharmacy workspace clean, organized, and safe for operations.
Requirements:
  • Certification or relevant experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with sales software is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦120,000.00 per month
