RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement comprehensive internal control policies and procedures across all operations, including the depot and jetty
.Regularly review and update internal control systems to adapt to changes in the business environment and regulatory landscape.
Engage with senior management ,providing regular updates on the status of internal controls, risk management initiatives and compliance activities
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure corrective actions are taken where he
Investigate any suspected fraud and irregularities, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve issues and strengthen controls
Ensure positive audit outcomes with minimal findings reflecting a strong internal control environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess risks control weaknesses and areas of improvement
REQUIREMENTS
Bsc in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or any other related field
Minimum of 7-10years of experience in internal control, auditing or risk management with a significant portion in the oil and gas industry preferably in downstream operations.
Knowledge of Internal Control Framework.
Proficiency in internal control framework risk assessment methodologies and audit processes
Demonstrated experience in leading internal control or audit teams, with a proven track record of improving control environments
Proficiency in Using financial management systems, audit software and Microsoft Office suite
