We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: HR / Admin Officer
Job Location: Osapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Start Date: Second week of January 2025

Job Overview


  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR/Admin Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative operations, managing human resources functions, and ensuring the efficient running of day-to-day office activities.
  • This role requires someone who is proactive, communicative, and dedicated to maintaining a professional environment while supporting the growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, reviewing applications, and conducting interviews.
  • Oversee employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the payroll process and employee benefits administration.
  • Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing office communications.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new hires, ensuring they are well-integrated into the company culture.
  • Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and maintenance to ensure a functional work environment.
  • Organize and maintain HR files and documentation.
  • Assist in implementing HR initiatives that align with the company’s goals and growth strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry standards.
  • Foster a positive working environment by supporting employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably within a real estate firm or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and HR software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to start by the second week of January 2025.
