The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong. There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position in the Hong Kong FMI Services Limited (HKFMI), a wholly owned subsidiary of the HKMA:

Senior Systems Analyst (Information Technology)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, technical and database design of business application system
• Perform application and web programming
• Assist in user acceptance test and quality assurance assignments for financial application systems
• Prepare technical and programming documentation
• Perform daily user and operations support

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in computer science, business information systems, information technology or related fields
• At least 3 years of relevant IT experience with solid experience in user requirements gathering, system analysis and design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, etc
• Solid programming experience in VB.NET, Java, PHP, shell script, JSON and XML
• Solid technical knowledge and experience in Oracle and My SQL database programming
• Knowledge of various operating systems, virtualization and cloud services an advantage
• Knowledge of RESTful API, Word Press, Crystal Report and RPA solution an advantage
• Good project management, leading and communication skills with team members, business users and external vendors
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua

(Candidates with less experience may be considered for an offer of appointment at Systems Analyst level.)
