Responsibilities:

Assist social worker and team to carry out all kinds of recreational and diversional-related activities mostly indoor and occasionally outdoor for cancer patients and caregivers
Assist social worker to liaise, co-ordinate and supervise volunteer services, events and training
Provide programme / event support (e.g. contact of patients and caregivers, collaborators and volunteers, potential escort service and material stocking and purchase)
Liaise with various departments in deployment of volunteers in different HKACS activities
Provide project teams with support (e.g. filing, email and data entry)
Assist in publicity and promotion of project services
Carry out other duties as assigned by the social worker and his/her supervisors

Requirements:

Form 5 graduates or HKDSE
Relevant experience in patient services will be an advantage
Good PC skills, MS WORD, Chinese word processing and proficiency in Excel
Reasonable command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Positive attitude and caring personality, especially taking care of clients with oncology diseases
Able to work independently and also cohesively within the team
Self-motivated with sound communication skills
