We are assisting a corporate bank in their search for a Contract Officer to join their Loan Operations team, specializing in syndication loans. This is a 12-month contract position, perfect for professionals looking to enhance their skills in a fast-paced banking environment.
Responsibilities

Execute loan transactions in accordance with established protocols to ensure operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
Handle daily operational tasks related to loans, including drawdowns, rollovers, fee collections, SWIFT payments, and confirmations.
Prepare and verify reports for Banking Returns, financial term-end submissions to the Head Office, and other internal and management information system (MIS) reports.
Conduct general administrative tasks such as data entry, document filing, mail handling, and correspondence preparation.
Assist in various projects and perform ad hoc assignments as directed by senior management.

Requirements

HKDSE or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in corporate loan operations; degree holders with less experience will also be considered.
Solid understanding of corporate loan product processing and risk management.
Fluent in spoken English and Chinese.
Proficient in MS Office, with knowledge of VBA, MS Excel Macros, and Alteryx being an advantage.
