Java Team Lead - Logistic industry

Join Our Team as a Development Team Lead for Cargo Handling Systems!
Location: Lantau Island, Hong Kong SAR
Duties:

Lead a development team in providing production support and delivering projects for our cargo handling systems.
Conduct technical analysis and system design to enhance system performance.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for mission-critical applications.
Manage relationships with external vendors and developers at our offshore development center.

Qualifications:

Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of application development experience, with at least 3 years in a team leader role.
Hands-on experience or strong knowledge in:
Java, Spring Framework, Web Logic, Tomcat
Oracle RDBMS, SQL, and database management
Dev Ops practices, version control systems (e.g., GIT, SVN), Maven, and JIRA
Multi-tier and high-availability system architecture
Ability to work independently in a flexible and dynamic environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
A collaborative team player with a proactive approach and commitment to achieving high-quality results.
Previous experience in cargo handling systems or 4+ years of development experience in large-scale, mission-critical systems is a definite advantage.

Note: Candidates with less experience may be considered for IT Specialist roles.
