We are looking for a Chef de Cuisine - Angelini based at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As a Chef de Cuisine - Angelini, we rely on you to:
Supervise the daily operation of the kitchen, including food production, quality control and presentation

Ensure the highest standards of productivity, consistency and quality assurance for all aspects

Maintain and improve food quality and consistency to meet or exceed guest expectations while adhering to food hygiene and safety requirements

Assist Executive Chef with the preparation and control of annual budget by monitoring the effective utilization of available resources in capital expenditure, food costs, operating equipment and manpower within areas of responsibilities

Motivate the team to continue to excel

Lead by example demonstrating attributes aligning with Company's core values

Be physically involved in all aspects of daily operations and provide guidance as required

Be approachable and committed to team members' professional and personal development

Achieve the highest standard through strict adherence to the hygiene and sanitation policies

We are looking for someone who has:
Minimum 8 years’ of relevant experience in prestigious hotels or restaurants with 3 years in a same capacity

Extensive knowledge and exposure in authentic Italian cuisine is definitely an advantage

Sound knowledge of cost control and menu engineering with high creativity and food quality

Proven record in operating a sizable cuisine with a diversity of food stations and strong food wastage management

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with strong initiatives to interact with customers and staff

Well versed with both internet and email technology

Innovative, profit-oriented and strong sense in business acumen

Excellent command of both spoken and written English
