Accounting Officer (Financial Accounting & Reporting)

Job Accountabilities
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing for General Insurance business
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial and management reports
- Perform analysis and account reconciliations
- Perform insurance and non-insurance balances settlements
- Prepare daily and weekly cashflow projections
- Support annual audit, IA Filing and levies payment
- Assist in other ad-hoc tasks assigned by manager
Job Qualifications
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- Progressing well with professional accounting qualification in an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in insurance industry
- Knowledge in HKRBC and IFRS 17 is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting timelines
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point; experience in SAP is preferable
