Senior Accounting Officer - ICT Logicom Solutions - Athens, Greece - 3-5 years experience

The Senior Accounting Officer will be managing daily accounting functions, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting. This role involves preparing management accounts, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, supporting audits, and handling electronic invoicing.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily bookkeeping, General Ledger entries.
- Issuing sales invoices and credit notes.
- Contributing to credit control and customer collections.
- Performing Reconciliations (banks, customers, vendors, open provisions).
- Maintaining Accounts Receivable & Payable Ledgers.
- Managing Petty Cash.
- Submitting month-end Withholding Tax Forms and other Tax Declarations (ΜΥΦ).
- Handling and managing My Data and Electronic invoicing obligations.
- Conducting month-end activities (General Ledger entries for accruals and prepayments).
- Preparing Monthly Management Accounts.
- Handling the Internal and External Audits, including helping for the preparation of the Annual Statutory Financial Statements.
- Contributing to VAT and VIES declaration, Intrastat, Recycling tax.
- Cash Flow Monitoring and Payments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the IT services industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Working experience with Navision will be considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a Team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
