About the role
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will work closely with different teams and departments in our organization to understand their needs and ensure the timely purchasing and delivery of products, materials, and services.

About the role
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will work closely with different teams and departments in our organization to understand their needs and ensure the timely purchasing and delivery of products, materials, and services.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with key individuals within the organization to understand their needs and ensure clarity regarding specifications and expectations for purchased products, materials, and services.
- Conduct market research for potential suppliers, evaluate options, and establish partnerships to secure the best quality products, materials, and services for the company.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, aiming for cost-effective deals that meet specifications and standards.
- Prepare purchase proposals, request quotes and issue purchase orders and agreements accurately and efficiently, ensuring alignment with established procurement guidelines.
- Finalize purchase details, including orders and delivery schedules.
- Inspect and evaluate supplier performance, taking necessary actions to address any discrepancies and resolve shortcomings.
- Thoroughly examine and assess existing contracts, ensuring adherence to terms.
- Track, review, and improve procurement processes and service levels, striving for continuous enhancement of efficiency and quality.
- Implement best practices in procurement and stay informed about industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field will be considered a plus.
- At least 3 years work experience as a Procurement Specialist, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power Point.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools will be considered a plus.
- Fluency in English language.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure advantageous terms with suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to identify trends, perform data analysis, and make informed procurement decisions.
- Detail-oriented approach to evaluating product quality and supplier performance.
- Problem-solving aptitude with the capacity to address issues proactively and develop effective solutions.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
