Savoy Sharm Group is seeking a professional and courteous Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. As a Hostess, you will be responsible for providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests, ensuring a pleasant and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, and seat them at their designated tables
• Maintain a neat and clean hostess station, and ensure it is well-stocked with necessary supplies
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and inquiries
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
• Monitor and manage the flow of guests in the dining area, and make necessary adjustments to seating arrangements
• Attend to any special requests or accommodations from guests
• Assist with setting up and decorating tables for special occasions or events
• Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, and escalate to management if necessary
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials to provide accurate information to guests

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Hostess or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to handle cash and credit card transactions
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, and lift up to 25 pounds

Education and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality or related field is a plus
• Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred
• Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid work permit in Egypt

Working Conditions:

• This position requires standing for long periods of time and may involve some light lifting and carrying
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-stress environment
• Will be exposed to noise, heat, and humidity in the kitchen and dining areas
