Description
The laboratory of X-ray micro and nano computed tomography of CEITEC BUT (CTlab) is seeking applicant for a scientific position to work on research projects in the field of X-ray computed tomography and material characterization.
Expectations:
- Ability to carry out the research projects independently, interpret data, and write manuscripts.
- Excellent team working skills, self-motivation, initiative and persistence.
- Act as a source of information and advice to other members of the group on scientific protocols and experimental techniques.
- Experience operating X-ray CT equipment from Waygate Technologies.
- Familiarity with reconstruction and acquisition software Datos.
- Experience in CT technology development and publishing in scientific journals.
- Knowledge of metrological calibrations in X-ray computed tomography according to VDI/VDE standards.
- Programming skills in Python and at least a basic understanding of C++.
- International experience or completion of a long-term foreign internship.
- Good communication skills and written and spoken English are required.
- Access to state-of-the-art micro and nanocharacteristic equipment.
- A well-established international collaboration network in X-ray computed tomography.
- Supportive team members with diverse backgrounds.
- Detailed CV including list of publications.
- Copy of highest-attained academic degree.

- Anticipated start date: Upon agreement.
